Hey! I‘m Greg.
I became fascinated with the internet when I built my first Star Wars fan site and saw how it connected me and my friends with people across the world. A couple dozen band, student, and small business websites later I was surprised that I could make a career out of something that I really loved.
After nearly 20 years in the field my passion for UI, UX and frontend code remains as strong as ever, even though the work I find important has changed. I find myself increasingly attracted to projects where I can make necessary technology less stressful for the people that have to use it.
My passion projects mostly involve apps that help people form better physical, financial, and mental habits. My dream is to someday focus exclusively on those.
Outside of work I enjoy recreational sports like volleyball and pickleball, adventures without taking pictures, turning off my phone when hanging out with family and friends, and to detach from work.
Even so, my love for the craft is ever-present and I almost always have my notebook and laptop handy for passion projects, gaming, and learning things on YouTube.
