Hey! I‘m Greg.
I became fascinated with the internet when I built my first Star Wars fan site and seeing it come to life. A couple dozen band, student, and small business websites later I was surprised that I could make a career out of something that I really loved.
After nearly 20 years in the field my passion for UX, UI and frontend code remains as strong as ever, even though the work I find important has changed. I find myself increasingly attracted to “boring” projects that make technology that is necessary less frustrating. I consider it a job well done if my work helps people end their day less stressed by technology.
My passion projects mostly involve apps that help people form better physical, financial, and mental habits. My dream is to someday focus exclusively on those.
Outside of work I enjoy recreational sports like volleyball and pickleball, adventures without taking pictures, turning off my phone when hanging out with family and friends, and to detach from work.
Even so, my love for the craft is ever-present and I almost always have my notebook and laptop handy for passion projects, gaming, and learning things on YouTube.
